What preparation is needed before you arrive?
Our bouncy castles and slides are delivered on a sack trolley so we need adequate clear access for this (minimum width of 3ft). Please ensure that paths or access to your garden are free of obstacles. We will need access to an electricity power point within 20 metres, or we can provide a petrol generator (At additional cost). If we have to wait while you clear access, prepare the site, or if the access/site is unsuitable, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
What type of surface do you need for the bouncy castle/slide?
Bouncy castles and slides situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are ok) so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud. If we have to wait while you clear access, prepare the site, or if the access/site is unsuitable, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
How much room do you need to erect a bouncy castle/slide?
The minimum space required allowing for the inflation tube and air blower at the back together with the necessary safety mats can be found on our castles page. Any overhanging trees and prickly bushes need to be pruned back.
Can your bouncy castles/slides be used indoors as well as outdoors?
Yes, we set up bouncy castles and slides indoors for internal hires such as community centres, village halls and all types of indoor venues. We provide sand bags in these situations to secure the units. You will need to check the height of the ceiling at your venue to ensure the inflatable you have chosen will fit. The minimum space required allowing for the inflation tube and air blower at the back together with the necessary safety mats can be found by clicking on our castle page.
